Zircon Information

Zircon should never, never, never be confused with cubic zirconia (CZ).  Zircon is a beautiful natural gemstone that exhibits exceptional brilliance and a diamond-like luster.  Zircon comes in many colours and one of the most popular is blue.  The "Cambodian Blue" comes from a unique material that is brownish in colour and when heated becomes a wonderful saturated blue.

There is a wide variation of properties among zircons so mineralogists classify them into at leave two types:  low properties and high properties
